Power BI Analyst – Business Reporting & Data Validation (4-6 months, potential extension)

Summary: The Power BI Analyst role focuses on rebuilding and validating business reports using Power BI and collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate data mappings. The analyst will review existing reporting logic and work closely with stakeholders to ensure reports meet their needs while suggesting improvements based on user behavior. This position is expected to last 4-6 months with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and validate existing business reports in Power BI using Fabric semantic models
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure data mappings from Redshift are accurate
• Review and interpret reporting logic and KPIs from existing Manthin dashboards
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand how reports are used and confirm the outputs meet their needs
• Suggest improvements or enhancements based on observed user behavior

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Medalion Architecture
• Proven track record of rebuilding or migrating reports from legacy systems
• Excellent DAX skills and semantic model understanding
• Confidence in working with stakeholders to validate metrics and KPIs
• Ability to QA outputs and diagnose mismatches between legacy and new data models
