We have an exciting opportunity for up to 3 highly numerate and meticulous analysts to join the Population Health Intelligence team at Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, delivering analysis and insights using a range of health data and undertaking a level 7 Health & Care Intelligence Specialist apprenticeship. Your analytical insights will support decision-making that contributes to improved service delivery and better health outcomes. These posts will work with system partners in Humber & North Yorkshire, notably 6 local authorities, with a focus on our priorities to improve healthy life expectancy. You will be self-motivated, have attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. You will develop bespoke outputs in a range of formats (dashboards, slide decks and written reports), providing accessible interpretation of data. Previous knowledge of healthcare or public health is essential.

About Us NHS Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning NHS services to meet the health needs of 1.7 million people. Person Specification Experience Essential Detailed practical technical knowledge and experience of databases, including data processing. Experience in writing complex code, for example, SQL, Power BI DAX or R. Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures. Experience of manipulating health data flows. Experience of information handling and integration of data from disparate sources. Desirable Experience of working in an NHS or local authority analytical role. Experience in creating, maintaining and updating Power BI based reports. Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in subject with significant numerical content or equivalent level of experience and training from working within the NHS or public health in a similar role.
