Summary: The role of PMO Technical Contracts Support involves providing a PMO service under the guidance of the Technical Contracts Lead, focusing on budgetary control, resource management, and reporting. The position is contract-based, requiring on-site presence in Bristol for three days a week until the end of 2026. The successful candidate will assist in various financial and resource-related tasks, ensuring compliance with contract obligations and supporting the Engineering Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgetary Control
  • Set up monthly meetings with Function Heads (MEH and Transverse)
  • Maintain a database of Task Orders and remaining budget
  • Request a sample of invoices and compare with contract obligations
  • Assist with Annual Budget by Cost Centre
  • Assist with Actual Cost of Work Provided (ACWP) creating monthly pack
  • Assist with year-end process with full audit trail of accruals raised
  • Manage meeting calendar with Risk Owners
  • Analyse Downloads from ARM and provide Summary Status
  • Maintain Resource Database, ensuring all FTE costs captured
  • Liaise with Branch Managers and HRBP to create Resource profile
  • Report on vacancies and progress on Recruitment
  • Produce monthly report depicting JDO activity
  • Assist wider Engineering Services team with Reporting in other areas

Key Skills:

  • Experience in PMO or project management roles
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting
  • Ability to manage resources and liaise with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with risk management processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary (Rate): £300/day

Role: Technical Contract Support Position: Contract

Location: Aztec West, Bristol

Days on Site: 3

Duration: InitialCED until 31st Dec 2026

Pay: £220 PAYE - £300 Umbrella

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide a PMO service, reporting to the Technical Contracts Lead, assisting the Technical Contract Controller.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Budgetary Control
  • Set up the monthly meetings with Function Heads (MEH and Transverse)
  • Maintain a database of the Task Orders and remaining budget
  • Request a sample of invoices and compare with contract obligations
  • Assist with Annual Budget by Cost Centre
  • Assist with the Actual Cost of Work Provided (ACWP) creating the monthly pack to include resourcing
  • Assist with the year End Process with full audit trail of accruals raised
  • Risk
  • Manage a meeting calendar with Risk Owners
  • Analyse Downloads from ARM, Provide Summary Status
  • Resource:
  • Code 6: Maintain the Resource Database, ensure all FTE costs captured and aligned to the right TO, MSR, Cost Centre, Agency (password Protected file)
  • Code 7: Liaise with Branch Managers and HRBP to create Resource profile to the end of the Project
