Summary: The role of PMO Support involves providing assistance to a public sector client for a duration of 10 months. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PMO support, particularly within the public sector, and preferably hold active SC clearance. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement across London, Manchester, or Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Transformation PMO: Proven experience supporting digital transformation programmes
  • Traditional IT Background: Experience in traditional IT organisations and understanding different ways of working
  • Dual Methodology: Worked in both Waterfall and Agile environments with ability to integrate both approaches
  • Senior Exposure: Track record of work presented to or reviewed by senior civil servants
  • Previous exposure to GDS
  • Coordinate and schedule programme meetings, workshops, and reviews, including preparing agendas, circulating pre-reading materials, booking rooms/venues and taking accurate minutes and actions.
  • Support in the preparation of materials for programme governance boards, including senior management and stakeholder reviews
  • Maintain and update programme-related data and information within designated programme management tools (eg Jira, Trello, O365)
  • Assist with the preparation of programme reports, dashboards, and presentations for various stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the programme team, supporting Agile ceremonies and leveraging communication tools (eg, Slack, Teams)

We are currently seeking PMO support to work with our public sector client

10 months contract

300 per day inside IR35
