Summary: The PMO Quality Assurance Analyst at BAM UK&I will support the ERP project over a 24-month fixed-term contract, working in a hybrid capacity from any UK&I office. This role involves ensuring project governance and quality assurance, providing critical analysis and reporting on project data, and supporting project teams in delivering on scope, quality, time, and cost. The analyst will also contribute to the development of project delivery capabilities and best practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain portfolio and project-level oversight through management processes, data analysis and reporting
  • Monitor and challenge project progress against plan and key milestones
  • Operate strong proactive financial controls across project accounting
  • Collect, analyse and critique project data for informed reporting and preparation of SteerCo
  • Support project team in organising and managing project documentation including preparation for stage gate reviews and SteerCos
  • Support project team in accuracy and management of risks, dependencies and benefits realisation
  • Participate in monthly project reviews providing QA challenge and oversight
  • Carry out stage gate reviews for all projects ensuring 100% adherence to requirements
  • Support key planning, governance and resourcing activities
  • Facilitate/support meetings and workshops e.g. solution design, lessons learned reviews

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of five years’ PMO experience in delivering significant and challenging organisational change
  • Specific experience in a Quality Assurance focussed PMO
  • Recognised PMO/programme/project management qualification / certification
  • Knowledge and experience of waterfall project/programme management and/or agile and/or hybrid methodologies
  • Proficient in data, analytics and reporting methodologies, ideally including PowerBi
  • Experience of working closely with governance functions and senior decision makers
  • Experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience of forecasting, managing and validating project budgets
  • Experience of risk and opportunity management in a complex change environment
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication and ability to engage
  • Experience with PowerBI or equivalent tools is advantageous

Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM UK&I are looking for an PMO Quality Assurance Analyst to support our ERP project on a FTC for 24 months on a hybrid working from any UK&I office.

Your mission Working within the Strategic Projects function on our exciting ERP strategic change programme, the PMO Quality Assurance Analyst will support the PMO Lead in driving best practise in line with governance, our minimum standards framework and by providing quality assurance challenge, analysis and reporting on project/portfolio data. The QA Analyst will provide challenge, critical thinking and advice to Project Managers / Programme Workstream Leads and their teams to ensure they deliver their projects in line with agreed scope, quality, time and cost and will role-model programme and project delivery best practice and actively contribute towards the development of business change and project delivery capability.

Minimum of five years’ PMO experience in delivering significant and challenging organisational change, such as business adoption of new processes, digital programmes, organisational design, behavioural programmes and strategic programmes

Specific experience in a Quality Assurance focussed PMO

Recognised PMO/programme/project management qualification / certification

Knowledge and experience of waterfall project/programme management and/or agile and/or hybrid methodologies

Proficient in data, analytics and reporting methodologies, ideally including PowerBi

Experience of working closely with governance functions and senior decision makers

Experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution across a wide range of stakeholders

Experience of forecasting, managing and validating project budgets

Experience of risk and opportunity management in a complex change environment
