Summary: The PMO - Project Management Officer role at a leading Aerospace organization in Broughton focuses on enhancing project management governance and practices within the manufacturing engineering department. The successful candidate will ensure effective planning, execution, and monitoring of projects while promoting best practices and Agile methodologies. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to project success through detailed oversight and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support projects with strong Project Management expertise and appropriate governance practices.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing project leaders on a daily basis.
  • Coach and raise awareness of best practice project management within the manufacturing engineering teams.
  • Shape methods and tools according to project needs and PM standards.
  • Facilitate efficient communication and stakeholder management across projects.
  • Promote Agile ways of working and act as Scrum Master for project activities.
  • Establish end-to-end project plans and control changes against the baseline.
  • Track performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze project information to anticipate deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Provide clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
  • Drive the Risk & Opportunity Management process and maintain the associated register.
  • Work with Finance to compare costs and time against planning.
  • Prepare and publish reports and relevant KPIs and dashboards.
  • Contribute to team reviews and support project management reviews.
  • Occasional travel for business may be required.

Salary (Rate): £37.02/hour
