The role is accountable for providing PMO support services to complex customer contracts within Design and Delivery. It helps reduce risk to the business, improve the probability of a successful delivery, and improve customer satisfaction. It ensures that we provide a mature set of services to the most deserving contracts, including governance, reporting, risk and issue, dependency and obligation management.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience supporting the end-to-end delivery of a PMO service, with clear standards, consistent execution, and measurable value to contract delivery.
- Capability in delivery assurance, ensuring high-quality governance, reporting, and control across multiple contracts or programmes.
- Experience defining and operating a clearly defined PMO catalogue of services.
- Understanding of and experience in delivering project and programme governance, with the ability to apply methodology pragmatically and at pace.
- Experience using PMO tools and data as the primary source of delivery insight, producing clear, decision-ready reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Experience in identifying improvements, simplifying PMO processes and introducing digital or automated solutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify areas that influence delivery and leadership communities.
- Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and use of SharePoint.
- Ability to maintain close connections and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
