Summary: The PMO Manager role involves overseeing project management and governance within the finance sector, focusing on enforcing standards, coaching project managers, and ensuring effective communication across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce standards for RAID management, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are well-managed.
  • Coach Project Managers on best practices and methodologies, ensuring compliance and quality throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the development of Investment Committee papers and create accurate, timely programme reports.
  • Oversee multiple projects, conducting audits and sharing lessons learned to continuously improve practices.
  • Coordinate Programme Governance Forums, ensuring effective communication and action tracking.
  • Champion financial forecasting and reporting accuracy.
  • Validate and challenge data submissions to governance forums.
  • Facilitate internal meetings, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive project success.

  • Strong understanding of PMO processes and project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a knack for data analysis and report preparation.

Location: Welwyn Garden City Office (Hybrid 3 days on site 2 remote)

Contract length: 6 months (possible extension)

Daily Rate: Up to £450 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)
