Summary: The PMO Manager will collaborate with the Programme Manager to ensure the timely delivery of all workstreams within the Nexus Resource scheduling programme. This role requires a strong background in project management and PMO practices, with a focus on benefits management and financial controls. The successful candidate will also be responsible for effective communication and engagement planning. This position is hybrid, requiring two days in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Programme Manager to ensure timely delivery of workstreams.
- Plan, monitor, and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues.
- Manage benefits from strategy to realization for the Programme Management Office.
- Develop clear communications and support projects in creating engagement plans.
- Oversee project/programme financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Conduct data gathering and business analysis, structuring data for various audiences.
Key Skills:
- Recognised project/PMO management qualification (e.g. P3O, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or APMP/PQ level).
- Expertise in planning, monitoring, reporting, and problem resolution.
- Strong understanding of benefits management.
- Ability to develop high-quality communications and engagement plans.
- Knowledge of project/programme financial controls and analysis.
- Strong MS Office skills for data gathering and business analysis.

- Strong understanding of project/programme financial controls and analysis including budgeting and forecasting.
