Summary: The PMO Manager role at ACCA involves overseeing a portfolio of approximately £20M across 40 projects within the Transformation team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately £20M per year across circa 40 projects.
• Work with stakeholders across all levels, including IT, People and Transformation, Markets, and Professional Education.
• Coach and mentor Senior PMO Analysts and Project Managers within the directorate.
• Accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses, budget monitoring, and reporting on portfolio performance.
• Manage the departmental shared resource pool and capacity plan, highlighting resource shortfalls and recommending strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and management information regarding ACCA's change portfolio performance.
• Design and agree on management dashboards and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Key Skills:

• Significant experience in a project/programme/portfolio environment as a senior Project Manager or equivalent.
• Experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timescales.
• Formally trained in recognized Project Management methodology (e.g., Prince 2) or equivalent experience.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and workshop facilitation skills.
• In-depth understanding of risk management, dependency management, benefits management, and financial management.
• Expert level understanding of the role of PMO within a project/programme/portfolio environment.
