Our client is looking for a PMO Lead to set up a new PMO office from scratch and to develop a hybrid governance framework integrating waterfall and SAFe methodologies. You will establish and lead the PMO, defining its structure, processes, and tools to support the programme's objectives.
Responsibilities:
Governance Framework: Develop and implement a hybrid governance framework that combines waterfall and SAFe methodologies to ensure effective project management and delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with the programme's goals.
Reporting and Metrics: Create and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track progress, identify risks, and ensure transparency.
Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure the programme is adequately staffed and resourced.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure the programme remains on track.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PMO.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a small but skilled team to establish and maintain control of a high priority digital programme.
The role is for 6 months initially and requires 2-3 days in site in Corsham every week.
