Summary: The PMO Lead for Price Control in Utilities will oversee the planning, risk management, and governance of a programme focused on price controls. This role involves establishing project management processes, maintaining delivery plans, and ensuring effective risk management. The position is hybrid and offers a contract for 2 months with potential for extension. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for robust project management processes and standards, especially for planning, risk management, and governance.
- Help establish and maintain up-to-date delivery plans, identifying and managing milestones, creating visibility of key decision points and dependencies within the central project plan.
- Ensure effective risk management and assurance processes are in place.
- Ensure that teams maintain clear audit trails for decisions taken in setting the price controls.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting for the SRO.
- Coordinate the preparation of advice to governance boards.
- Manage change control and lessons learned processes for the projects.
