Summary: The PMO Lead role is focused on supporting the Connections Reform Programme team within the Utilities industry, specifically aimed at enhancing the connections process for electricity projects in Great Britain. This position requires managing governance for complex projects involving multiple organizations and stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication and documentation. The role is hybrid, requiring two days in Warwick, with potential travel to other locations. The contract is for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as 'tech sec' for joint governance forums, including invites, minutes, management of terms of reference, and agenda and content preparation.
- Manage and deliver governance for a complex project where several organisations are accountable to deliver.
- Facilitate joint change control process, ensuring impact assessments performed by all organisations and updates to plan are managed.
- Own and facilitate updates to key project documents including joint RAID, joint industry plan, and joint action tracker.
- Work with the internal risk and governance manager to ensure alignment across the internal and joint RAID.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring requirements are met.
- Work collaboratively with the Programme team to ensure consistent ways of working and understanding of the current state.
- Experience of project dashboard reporting, including Exec summary level updates.
- Ability to understand complex topics and translate them into simple, key messages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
