Summary: The PMO Lead will be responsible for establishing PMO methodologies for a significant Capital Programme with a budget of approximately £200 million. This role involves auditing existing capital programmes, identifying risks and gaps, and ensuring effective governance and reporting mechanisms. The PMO Lead will prioritize activities for successful delivery and ensure a high-quality handover of deliverables to the PMO team. This position is pivotal in driving transformational change and improving outcomes for the city and its residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish PMO methodologies for the Capital Programme, including governance, reporting, and assurance mechanisms.
• Audit existing capital programmes, identify issues, risks, and gaps, and recommend solutions.
• Develop plans to align ongoing capital projects with PMO methodology and governance.
• Prioritize activities for successful delivery and recommend resource plans for ongoing assurance.
• Accountable for the overall assurance of Capital Programme delivery and ensure quality handover of deliverables to the PMO team.

• Extensive experience in PMO roles, particularly in establishing PMO frameworks and methodologies.
