p>On behalf of FCDO, we are looking for a PMO Lead (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based Hybrid role 2-3 days per week in London or Glasgow.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, (at the very least you must be eligible for clearance)

The Humanitarian Emergency Response Operations & Stabilisation (HEROS) programme provides the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) with a set of capabilities for responding to humanitarian crisis and conflict across the globe. HEROS 2.0, its' successor programme, will continue the delivery of similar capabilities into the 2030s, namely:

.A Standing Humanitarian Advisory Team (to support the global FCDO network to prepare for and respond to humanitarian crises)

.Early warning and analysis of humanitarian and conflict risk

.Scalable Humanitarian & Conflict Expertise (rosters of external experts that be deployed into FCDO's overseas posts or onto time-limited assignments)

.Humanitarian Procurement & Logistics (management of humanitarian relief stockpiles and response equipment, and their deployment into challenging contexts globally at speed and scale).

.Humanitarian expert deployments into UN agencies calling for surge capacity to respond to crises

The PMO Specialist will build a solid delivery environment for the HEROS 2.0 programme, maturing existing tools and processes for planning, scheduling, risk & issue management, stakeholder engagement, governance and programme controls.

Specific responsibilities include:

.Specialist support and advice to develop, maintain and continually improve the collaborative delivery environment for the HEROS 2.0 Programme including provision of best practice project delivery techniques.

.Embed and operate a best practice planning methodology.

.Embed and operate best practice risk management for the Programme using established methodology eg MoR.

.Develop and maintain a reporting and MI approach for the Programme that adds value to internal and external stakeholders.

.Provide specialist project delivery advice and consultancy to develop Programme Team capability, producing a quarterly maturity report using P3M3 or other professional framework.

.Provide specialist assurance and support to the Programme Manager and SRO as required.
