Summary: The PMO Lead role in Financial Services involves supporting the Programme Director in a high-profile transformation project focused on onboarding clients to the ALPHA GX Investment Platform. The position requires collaboration with technology and delivery teams across multiple workstreams, emphasizing structured PMO governance and programme control. The role is hybrid, with a preference for London-based candidates, and requires proven experience in large-scale financial services programmes. The contract is for a minimum of 6 months with an attractive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery planning, execution, and reporting across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal + client-side)
  • Ensure alignment with delivery goals, timelines, and dependencies
  • Drive structured PMO governance and programme control
  • Work closely with Jira and other delivery tools

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering within large-scale, complex programmes (ideally £multi-million)
  • Strong track record in Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) or broader financial services
  • Expertise in technology-led transformation and PMO delivery
  • Hands-on experience using Jira
  • Able to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across delivery streams
  • Experience working with asset managers, asset servicers, or other large financial institutions
  • BPSS clearance (or willingness to undergo)

Project Overview

We’re working with a leading financial services client to support the onboarding of their clients onto the ALPHA GX Front and Middle Office Investment Platform. This is a high-profile, multi-million-pound transformation project involving complex data integration and platform migration.

Role Summary

You’ll be supporting the Programme Director (Workstream PM) and collaborating closely with client-side technology and delivery teams across multiple sub-workstreams.

The core focus will include:

  • Onboarding clients onto a data service
  • Building out the data platform
  • Integrating an external tool into existing order management systems

Key Responsibilities
