Summary: The PMO Lead role is a contract position based in Bristol, requiring a hybrid working arrangement with two days on-site each week. The successful candidate will establish PMO governance for a complex programme, ensuring adherence to standards and managing project plans, risks, and reporting. This position demands strong organizational and communication skills, along with proven experience in PMO leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish initial PMO governance and ways of working for a complex programme
  • Ensure continued adherence to governance standards across the programme
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, including milestones and interdependencies
  • Oversee and maintain RAID logs and ensure proactive management of risks/issues
  • Support preparation of programme and project-level reporting packs
  • Engage in both high-level strategic planning and day-to-day delivery activity tracking

  • Proven experience as a PMO Lead in complex programme environments
  • Strong background in governance, planning, and RAID management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive PMO standards across multiple workstreams
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting executive-level reporting materials
