Summary: The PMO Analyst role involves supporting the Head of PMO and the PMO team in delivering program insights through data analysis and management. The position requires effective management of processes and tools to transform program information into actionable insights, ensuring adherence to data governance. The role is on-site 2-3 days a week and is classified as inside IR35 for a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides PMO services including maintaining plans, financial monitoring, decision-making support, benefits tracking, and managing risks, issues, actions, and assumptions.
- Co-ordinate the production of reports to support governance by collating, analysing, evaluating, and manipulating data.
- Maintains the PMO document library and ensures registers, logs, and key documents are up to date.
- Provides education, training, and first-line support on PMO processes, procedures, and tools to team members.
- Supports the Head of PMO and programme leadership in championing PMO best practices.
- Acts as improvement manager for key PMO services.
- Facilitates programme events as required.
- Conducts assurance and regular health checks across the programme governance structure.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and management applications and tools relevant to PMO and programme management.
- Understanding of programme intelligence principles and their value.
- Strong commercial understanding.
- Ability to present statistical information effectively.
- Knowledge of data governance importance.
- Experience in developing programme and project insights, modelling, data aggregation, and GDPR compliance.
