Summary: The PMO Lead role based in Glasgow involves overseeing complex projects within a busy Financial Services environment. The position requires a strong background in PMO analysis and stakeholder management, with a focus on risk, project planning, and resource management. The successful candidate will work on-site two days a week and is expected to contribute to a growing workload alongside an existing team. This role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate through an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recent PMO Lead experience with a strong Snr PMO Analysis background & skill-set covering all aspects of Risk & Issues, Project Planning, Project Budgets & Costs and Project Resourcing etc
- Tasks include creation of packs, capturing of minutes & actions, maintenance of overall Programme plan, host regular RAID meetings and the QA of workstream status reports
- Previous experience working in a small PMO Team
- Demonstrate an openness to lean into whatever tasks are required to achieve the PMO objectives, including activities which may be outside of the "normal" PMO Lead role
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, being comfortable operating at all levels of the organisation including Executives
- Highly experienced on busy/high profile Financial Services Projects

A busy Financial Services Client has recently released a new PMO Lead role, inside IR35, with a rate banding of £450 - £500 per day to umbrella company and an initial contract to the end of Q1 2027.
Working from their Glasgow office 2 days per week (non negotiable), the role will be joining an existing team, assisting with a large & increasing workload. The successful candidate will align to complex projects, working with a range of senior level stakeholders in this area.
To be successful in this role, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
