Summary: As the PMO Lead, you will be instrumental in embedding governance and driving best practices within a large-scale programme. Your role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and forums to ensure effective delivery and reporting. This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension or permanent placement. The role requires a hands-on approach to programme planning and management in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and driving programme planning, dependency management, and financial tracking
- Leading governance forums including prep, packs, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Engaging confidently with third-party vendors and partners to manage external delivery
- Tracking and reporting on risks, issues, scope, schedule, and budget alignment
- Driving continuous improvement in tooling, processes, and reporting
- Conducting in-flight reviews and audits to ensure delivery integrity
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in Financial Services
- Proven track record supporting complex transformation or migration programmes
- Excellent stakeholder and third-party engagement experience (Forums, SteerCos, etc.)
- Skilled in programme governance, risk and issue management, and reporting
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and managing SharePoint
