Our client in the FMCG industry is urgently looking for a PMO Financial Analyst to join their team on a 6 month initial contract.

  • Raise Purchase Orders: Initiate and process purchase orders for external resources, ensuring compliance with governance policies and confirming approval from the resource committee and signed Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Governance Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to established governance frameworks, including documentation and approvals.
  • Track Actuals vs. Forecast: Monitor and analyse actual expenditures for internal and external resources, as well as other costs, comparing them against forecasts and budgets.
  • Budget Management: Update and maintain the budget management tool to reconcile financial data with SAP, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Forecast Updates: Regularly update forecasts in the budget management tool based on project progress and financial trends.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record actual and forecast spend in ServiceNow to maintain transparency and facilitate reporting.
  • Purchase Order Tracking: Update the Purchase Order Tracking file with new POs and current consumption amounts to ensure visibility of resource usage and financial commitments.
  • Annual Budget Plan Support: Assist in the production of the Annual Budget Plan (ABP) and document any deviations in a budget walk file to track and communicate changes effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on financial performance, highlighting variances and providing insights for project and program management.
  • Resource Management: Support planning of internal and external resources, ensuring compliance with governance policies
  • Other PMO activities: Support with other PMO activities where needed, eg organising workshops, maintaining distribution lists, keeping project stakeholders informed, etc.
  • Travel Expenses: Monitor incoming travel expenses and seek preapproval from Management. Keep analysis of spend for actuals and forecasting purposes
