Summary: The PMO Consultant role involves enhancing project management capabilities within the organization, focusing on developing frameworks, governance models, and best practices. The consultant will collaborate with project teams and leadership to ensure projects align with business goals and are executed efficiently. Candidates must possess DV clearance and be British nationals due to project requirements. The position is primarily on-site in Bristol or Farnborough, with one day of remote work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and improve existing PMO structures, processes, and methodologies.
• Design and implement project governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop and enhance project management tools, templates, and dashboards.
• Ensure alignment of project objectives with strategic business goals.
• Provide guidance and coaching to project managers and teams on best practices.
• Conduct PMO maturity assessments and recommend improvements.
• Standardize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) across teams.
• Monitor and track project performance, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
• Support change management initiatives related to PMO implementation.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyse project data and provide insights for decision-making.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are preferred.
