Key Responsibilities:
- Support the successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables.
- Support Programme reporting and assist team in reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Update and maintain the Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register.
- Track financial reporting whilst ensuring that the programme and projects adhere to the agreed budget.
- Ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained.
- Regularly challenge project control and governance.
- Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting.
- Support preparation of status reporting for BSU leadership.

- Experience of planning, executing, controlling and closing projects.
- Dedicated to creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies.
- Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

What you'll be doing? Reporting to the PMO Manager, this role involves supporting the delivery of a large remediation programme across BDW’s legacy portfolio. The prime driver behind having a dedicated PMO team is to support the administration and monitoring of a large and long programme through ensuring that all of its complex sub-projects adhere to the timelines and the team is connected to meet the ultimate goal. Main responsibilities of the PMO Assistant would include: portfolio support; programme planning including milestone management; and risk and issue management. Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management; maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs; resource forecasting; dependency management; and programme reporting. The team and each individual within the team provides and enables project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, decision making and potentially resource planning and recruitment.
