Summary: The PMO Analyst role involves supporting the Chief Technology Office of a large bank by managing a major technology portfolio within Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Risk. The position requires hands-on governance, proactive management of RAID logs, and engagement with senior stakeholders across various committees. The successful candidate will be expected to produce high-quality reporting and updates while driving actions across the portfolio. This role is based in Sheffield and requires a proactive approach in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of high-quality Steering Committee and governance packs
- Status reporting, milestone tracking and portfolio updates
- Management of RAID logs (risks, issues, dependencies, actions)
- Supporting governance forums and ensuring follow-ups are driven
- Engaging with stakeholders across technology and change teams
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst / Portfolio PMO within a technology environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders
- Experience producing executive-level reporting and governance packs
- Financial services / regulated environment experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills (reporting, tracking, analysis)

We are supporting the Chief Technology Office of a large bank in hiring a PMO Analyst to join a major technology portfolio within Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Risk.
This is a hands-on governance role supporting senior stakeholders across Steering Committees and working groups. The successful candidate will be expected to go beyond reporting – proactively managing RAID, challenging updates and driving actions across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of high-quality Steering Committee and governance packs
- Status reporting, milestone tracking and portfolio updates
- Management of RAID logs (risks, issues, dependencies, actions)
- Supporting governance forums and ensuring follow-ups are driven
- Engaging with stakeholders across technology and change teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst / Portfolio PMO within a technology environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders
- Experience producing executive-level reporting and governance packs
- Financial services / regulated environment experience preferred

Location & Availability:
Sheffield – 3 days per week onsite (non-negotiable)
Candidates must be available immediately or at very short notice
Contract details:
£450 per day (umbrella rate - inside IR35)
Initial 6-12 months, with strong potential to extend
