Your new company
You’ll be joining a pioneering energy company at the forefront of Britain’s transition to net zero, where innovation, infrastructure and sustainability converge. Within its nuclear new build programme, the organisation is reshaping the future of clean energy with one of the most ambitious and complex undertakings in the UK. Rooted in a culture of rigour, transparency and collaborative excellence, the digital and IT function you’ll support plays an essential role in enabling secure and strategic delivery across a highly regulated landscape. Right now, we are seeking a delivery-minded governance professional to uphold, champion and continuously evolve the assurance frameworks that underpin this national energy transformation.
Your new role
You will join a major national infrastructure programme as a PMO Analyst, embedded within a critical digital and IT environment. Based onsite for 2 days per week, this 12-month contract places you at the very heart of project governance, oversight and process management for one of the UK’s most ambitious energy initiatives. This is not a passive compliance role. You will serve as the keystone of delivery governance owning the frameworks, enforcing standards and shaping the rhythm and rigour of project execution. From leading architecture reviews to safeguarding investment and change control processes, your contribution will ensure that every project and programme operates with precision, transparency and accountability. You will be the primary point of contact for PMO governance adherence, actively coaching stakeholders and project teams in process literacy and execution discipline. Where deviation occurs, you’ll be the first to challenge it and the first to guide its correction.
What you'll need to succeed
This position calls for a passionate and credible advocate of delivery governance, someone who not only understands the mechanics of assurance, but who champions its value at every level of engagement. Experience in high-regulation environments, where structure, accountability and traceability are paramount is ideal. But more than anything, you must be a process evangelist: someone who sees governance not as bureaucracy, but as the scaffolding that enables safe, effective and transparent delivery. Your track record will reflect hands-on stewardship of project governance processes across complex portfolios, with particular emphasis on template fidelity, reporting integrity and procedural compliance. You’ll bring intellectual rigour, a confident command of change control disciplines, and the interpersonal fluency to enforce governance standards with conviction and tact.
