Summary: The PMO Analyst role involves supporting a portfolio of IT and security-focused projects within a leading utilities organization. The position requires collaboration with Project/Programme Managers to ensure effective governance, reporting, and delivery across various workstreams. A DBS check is mandatory prior to onboarding. The role is based in the Northwest, specifically Manchester, and requires on-site work 2 to 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain RAID, governance, and portfolio reporting
  • Produce weekly highlights and ad-hoc reports
  • Support planning, milestones, scope, and resource forecasting
  • Ensure lifecycle compliance and quality gate readiness
  • Manage dependencies and stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate PMO meetings, actions, and workshops
  • Support procurement (tenders, work orders, receipting)
  • Track benefits realisation (Cyber Assessment Framework)
  • Manage PMO comms, calendar, and SharePoint
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills:

  • Must have PMO / project support experience within projects or programmes
  • Utilities or regulated environment experience is highly desirable
  • Must have experience with RAID and governance
  • Ability to communicate technical and strategic information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong MS Office, SharePoint, and project tools
  • PRINCE2 / MSP / PMI (desirable)

PMO Analyst | 9-month Contract | Northwest

A leading utilities organisation is seeking a PMO Analyst to support a portfolio of IT and security-focused projects. You’ll work closely with Project/Programme Managers to drive governance, reporting, and delivery support across multiple workstreams.

You would be required be DBS checked prior to onboarding, in accordance with BS7858.
