Summary: Opticore IT is seeking a PMO Analyst to join their Project and Programme Management Practice in London for a 6-month contract inside IR35. The role involves supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects for a major financial institution, focusing on analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Support overall successful execution across the change portfolio, providing analysis, insight, and coordination for individual projects and across the portfolio.
- Provide support with financial processes, including monitoring budget against actuals versus forecast, third party engagement, and invoicing.
- Track project performance metrics and generate reports.
- Manage project data and ensure its accuracy.
- Support project planning, risk management, and lessons learned.
- Assist with resource planning and allocation.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline change delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project processes.
- Develop and implement best practices.
- Maintain and update PMO templates and guidance documents.
- Ensure the effective running of the Office, including team collaboration, communication, and engagement.
- Manage the PMO online workspaces and communication channels.
- Produce regular reports for various stakeholders, including forums to oversee and govern change delivery.
- Support the effective running of change governance committees.
- Analyse data to identify trends and potential issues, including portfolio level risks and dependencies.
- Ensure the effective sharing of information and collaboration across the project office, including with project managers and the delivery team.
Key Skills:
- Strong data analysis skills, including financial data, quantitative methods, reporting, and progress tracking.
- Proven experience in performance, risk, problem, and resource management within Change & Transformation environments.
- Knowledge of Project Management/PMO frameworks, ideally in financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to apply expertise and technology effectively.

Opticore IT is currently searching for a PMO Analyst with a history of delivering infrastructure projects on time and under budget to join the team. You'll join our Project and Programme Management Practice, based in the London area, on a 6 month contract inside IR35, with scope to extend. You'll support the successful delivery of the change portfolio by providing analysis, reporting, and process improvement for projects and major programmes for our client, one of the largest Financial Institutions in London. Supporting the governance and oversight of the change portfolio and tracking project performance, providing quality assurance against key sign-offs and ensuring projects follow the change delivery methodology. Continuously improve change delivery processes to ensure change is delivered effectively to the client.
