Summary: The Liquidity PMO Analyst role at HSBC involves delivering a comprehensive PMO service aligned with the HSBC Change Framework and Liquidity Sub-Value Stream governance. The position requires managing governance, tracking deliverables, and facilitating reporting within the Delivery streams. The analyst will also support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO. This role is based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support initiation activities in the Delivery streams, structuring initiatives in line with HSBC CF AGILE methodology.
- Establish and manage governance for the Delivery streams, ensuring alignment with Liquidity Sub-Value Stream Governance.
- Govern Delivery streams through PI Planning & Quarterly Business Reviews, including tracking key deliverables and RAID management.
- Provide input to Sub-Value Stream reporting, ensuring visibility of issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate and facilitate Delivery stream related reporting requirements.
- Manage and maintain the plan and OKRs, reporting on milestones at risk.
- Work with Delivery Lead/Manager to ensure robust detailed plans are in place.
- Create and maintain a Plan on a Page (POAP).
- Support Delivery streams in identifying and managing risks, issues, and assumptions.
- Monitor and assist in implementing issue resolution actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Sub-Value Stream PMO best practices.

Liquidity PMO Analyst £90k per annum London (Hybrid) Initially until end of Sep 2026 HSBC is currently searching for a Liquidity PMO Analyst to join their team in London. They are looking for someone to be accountable for the delivery of a value-add and insightful PMO service to the Delivery streams, in line with the PMO Service Offering, overall HSBC Change Framework and the Liquidity Sub-Value Stream governance.
Responsibilities:
- Support initiation activities in the Delivery streams, structuring the Delivery stream initiative delivery in line with the HSBC CF AGILE methodology
- Support the delivery stream in establishing & managing governance, ensuring its fit with the overall Liquidity Sub-Value Stream Governance & information flow.
- Govern the Delivery streams through PI Planning & Quarterly Business Reviews activity, including tracking & collation of key deliverables, Clarity Planning and RAID management, audit trail sign-off & library storage.
- Provide input to Sub-Value Stream reporting, ensuring visibility of any issues or risks and dependencies that require escalation, decisions to be made and/or changes to be approved
- Co-ordinate and facilitate Delivery stream related reporting requirements, as agreed with the Delivery Lead
- Manage and maintain the plan and OKR’s to a baseline, reporting milestones or OKR’s that are at risk, or in Clarity.
- Work with the Delivery Lead / Delivery Manager to ensure robust detailed plans are in place
- Provide key milestone updates to Delivery and Sub-Value Stream Levels, providing wider visibility of progress against plan.
- Create and maintain a Plan on a Page (POAP)
- Support Delivery streams to ensure plan dependencies have been identified and formally agreed and sufficient tracking is in place.
- Work with the Delivery stream Leads/Managers to align resources to plans and actively monitor
- Support the Delivery/Sub-Value stream in identifying and managing risks, issues and assumptions and NFR’s
- Monitor and when necessary, assist in the implementation of issue resolution actions.
- Escalate appropriate risks or issues & NFR’s to the Sub-Value Stream level for further decisioning and support
- Provide support to ensure all Delivery/Sub-Value stream assets and deliverables are fit for purpose and in line with the HSBC CF (e.g. periodic HSBC CF health-checks)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Sub-Value Stream PMO best practice and artefacts, identifying hotspots or opportunities and working with the wider team to resolve

- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
- Strong communication skills – applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
- Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent experience and the role holder will have professional qualifications in Project Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Excellent track record in programme delivery, typically in a coordination role
- Experience with Clarity and Open Workbench
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable
