Summary: The PMO Analyst role is a 6-month fixed-term contract within a leading global investment management firm, focusing on supporting the Change team. The position involves financial management, governance, and oversight of change initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals. The analyst will utilize Excel for tracking and reporting, collaborating closely with project managers and the finance team. This role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a structured Excel-based solution to track the full portfolio of change initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage financials across the portfolio, including monthly budget tracking, forecasting, and reconciliation with actuals.
  • Support Project Managers with budgeting, resourcing, and reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all governance artifacts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to align change financials with corporate systems and processes.
  • Produce high-quality MI for senior stakeholders, including insightful dashboards and reporting packs for governance forums.
  • Help embed core governance processes such as status reporting and RAID tracking, in line with best practice.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO operations, supporting the development of a delivery-minded and strategically aligned PMO function.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience managing a change portfolio using Excel (including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data validation).
  • Strong background in financial tracking, budget reconciliation, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to support both project-level and portfolio-level governance.
  • Strong experience of producing MI/reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal reliance on enterprise PMO tools.

My client is a leading global investment management business seeking a PMO Analyst to join their Change team.
