Summary: The PMO Analyst/Manager role involves supporting project and program delivery through effective resource planning, capacity tracking, and governance framework support. The candidate will ensure optimal resource utilization and visibility across the project portfolio. This position requires collaboration with project managers and department leads to address resourcing needs and monitor project performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PMO functions and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end resource planning, allocation, and forecasting across projects and programs
  • Work with project managers and department leads to identify resourcing needs and ensure appropriate assignments
  • Monitor resource utilization and availability, highlighting over/under-utilization and conflicts
  • Maintain a centralized resource tracker and regularly update the capacity planning tool/system
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of key strategic and regulatory projects across the organization
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive project documentation, RAID logs, dashboards, and reporting packs
  • Monitor project performance and timelines, ensuring timely identification and resolution of risks and issues

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a PMO or project coordination/management role
  • Proven experience in resource planning and management in a matrix or project-based environment
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Clarity, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, capacity tracking, and resource dashboards
  • Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through data-driven insights

Alexander Ash are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PMO Analyst / Manager to support the successful delivery of projects and programs by managing resource planning, capacity tracking, and supporting governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving visibility across the portfolio and ensuring optimal resource utilization across projects
