Summary: The PMO Analyst role at Legal & General involves supporting the PMO Leadership Team in governance and processes for projects and changes within the Group Finance, Change & Delivery team. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at enhancing project delivery through effective tracking, reporting, and analysis. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement of existing processes. Candidates are expected to contribute to an inclusive workplace culture while ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the PMO Leadership Team with the development, implementation, and embedding of governance and processes for agreed projects and changes
- Tracking and reporting project spend and investment approvals
- Ensuring the delivery status of projects is accurately represented
- Implementing and maintaining controls across the project portfolio
- Delivering effective analysis of data to identify themes and areas for improvement
- Gathering information to produce clear, consistent MI for Senior Management meetings
- Working closely with stakeholders on resource, supply, and demand processes
- Leading process improvements and cost reduction efforts
Key Skills:
- Experience working within an embedded PMO
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
- Strong analytical skills with exposure to financial activities
- Excellent organisational skills with proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders
- Proactive approach to reviewing and improving existing processes
- P3O or equivalent Change Management qualification preferred but not essential
