Summary: The PMO Analyst role involves managing and analyzing complex project plans while providing support and guidance to project managers. The position requires a combination of onsite presence in Glasgow and remote work, with a focus on developing relationships and ensuring effective tool usage. The role is contract-based for a duration of 9 months or more and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the aggregation and analysis of detailed and complex plans.
- Develop and manage agreed planning standards across the Change Community.
- Provide coaching and guidance to PMs & PMOs as required.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with internal customers.
- Develop reports with complex analysis and metrics for decision making.
- Ensure adequate tool support is provided to PMs/Programme Managers.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on tool usage.
- Review and challenge Change control logs and impact assessments.
- Maintain RAID logs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consolidate, analyze, validate, and own project/programme RAF.

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a PMO Analyst
For this role you will need to be onsite in Glasgow 2-3 days per week.

What will you be doing?
Own the aggregation and analyse detailed & complex plans. Develop and manage agreed planning standards across the Change Community. Provide coaching and guidance to PMs & PMOs where required.
Develop & maintain robust relationships with internal customers: ensure appropriate escalation mechanisms are in place to support prompt issue resolution.
Develop reports with complex analysis and metrics that are required by the programme/Project manager for decision making. Where central reports are available - these should be used.
Ensure that adequate tool support (Navigator, Control, Financial, Commercial tools) is provided to PM's/Programme Managers within portfolio's, programmes & large Change projects.
Be an SME on tool usage and provide advice & guidance to ensure that tools are used effectively and issues, if any are resolved at the earliest.
Review and challenge Change control logs and impact assessment to ensure that impact of all change requests are analysed.
Maintain RAID's logs through the life of the programme/project, ensuring that status, due dates, actions and recommendations are updated on a regular basis.
Consolidate, analyse, validate and own project/programme RAF before publishing it further ensuring that the forecast is consistent and accurate.
What we're looking for:
In depth experience in the professional project environment or Matrix management structure
Influencing/networking - developing internal and external business relationships and using own knowledge, skills and experience to influence others opinions and actions.
Comprehensive experience in professional communications, both written correspondence and face to face
Expertise in excel to be able to produce effective MI reporting and translating into PowerPoint presentations
Extensive experience in analysis and creativity - to be able use own initiative to conceive original and practical solutions for internal and external stakeholders through the production of effective presentations to complex and business critical problems.
To have a good understanding at a high level the interface between complex business needs and the complex legal and regulatory environment in which the business operates.
Proven ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed.
Skills that will help you in the role:

Ability to manage and deliver in a business that is undergoing a high degree of organisational and strategic change.
Experience of Prince II/PMI in a project environment.
