PMO Analyst - Financial Focus (BPSS Required)
Location: Telford, UK (Hybrid - minimum 2 days onsite)

Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical PMO Analyst with strong financial management and budgeting experience to join an Integration PMO team supporting a major HMRC contract.
This role has a significant focus on financial management, including forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance reporting. You will work closely with Engagement Managers and Delivery Area Managers to ensure projects are financially controlled, accurately reported, and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage project financials, including forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis

Produce monthly financial reports, identifying risks, trends, and variances

Support budget management and financial planning across projects

Collaborate with delivery leads to ensure accurate resource forecasting

Review and analyse timesheets and resolve missing time issues

Prepare and deliver weekly client reports

Support programme planning, pricing, and governance activities

Ensure adherence to PMO processes, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience

Proven PMO experience with a strong financial management focus

Demonstrable expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting

Experience producing and analysing financial variance reports

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High level of commercial awareness

Experience with project planning and resource management

Knowledge of risk management and governance frameworks

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

Familiarity with project management tools/software
