Summary: The Interim PMO Analyst will support the Education Capital Programme at the City Council by organizing and aligning projects to standard project management practices. This role focuses on the delivery of new builds, extensions, and refurbishments, particularly for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) placements. The analyst will work closely with the Education Capital Programme Manager and the central Portfolio Management Officer to ensure the programme's structure and adaptability. The position requires a minimum of one day per week on-site attendance in a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare board packs, monthly highlight reports, and assist with board administration, including tracking actions and coordinating agenda items.
• Support project managers in organizing their SharePoint and document storage according to standard practices.
• Assist project managers with building and maintaining their PM3 content, ensuring it meets required standards.
• Work with project managers to ensure clear and accurate audit trails are maintained for all projects.
• Manage and arrange meetings for the programme, prepare consolidated highlight reports, and assist project managers with internal decision-making and approvals.

Key Skills:

• Experience of supporting boards.
• Experience of working in organisations requiring strong audit trails.
• Proven work experience as Senior Programme Support Officer.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
