Summary: The PLM Consultant role focuses on implementing and optimizing Siemens Teamcenter for product lifecycle management within a leading global technology company. This on-site contract position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective PLM solutions and data migration strategies. The consultant will also be responsible for training users and troubleshooting technical issues related to the PLM system. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, administration, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter PLM to support product development and engineering workflows.
- Manage and execute PLM data migration efforts, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading into Siemens Teamcenter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to align PLM solutions and migration strategies with business needs.
- Oversee PLM system configurations, customizations, and integrations with enterprise applications.
- Develop and enforce best practices, data governance policies, and system workflows to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PLM-related technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Train and mentor users on PLM processes and Teamcenter functionalities to drive adoption and efficiency.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in PLM management, with a strong focus on Siemens Teamcenter.
- Expertise in Teamcenter configuration, customization, workflows, and data management.
- Experience integrating PLM with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and engineering change processes.
- Hands-on experience with PLM data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration tools.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements related to data migration and system transitions.
