Summary: The Platform Security Developer role focuses on onboarding client applications to Duende Identity Server and enhancing application security. The position requires collaboration with the platform team to develop deployment strategies and provide application-focused support. This is a six-month contract based in Bristol, with a hybrid working arrangement. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboarding new client applications to Duende Identity Server
• Identity Server application hardening (review of and improvements to boilerplate UI)
• OpenId client hardening (Identity Server configuration and python fastapi interoperability)
• Work with the platform team to develop a deployment strategy for blue / green deployments
• Application-focussed support to the platform team

Key Skills:

• C# Expert/Senior Developer
• OpenId & Application Security Expert
• Practical experience of Duende Identity Server (ideally)
• DevOps experience (blue / green deployments in Azure)
• Git Expert
