We are currently looking for a Platform QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join one of our top clients in Barcelona for a long-term strategic project within a highly scalable and distributed environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in defining and leading the quality strategy, working across microservices-based and event-driven architectures, and promoting a strong quality-first culture across engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the QA automation strategy at platform level
- Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch
- Ensure quality across distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Integrate continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to establish best practices
- Promote a strong culture of quality across the organization
Must-have requirements
- +4 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET / Quality Engineering
- Strong software development background
- Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Programming skills in C# (.NET) or experience with TypeScript or Go
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Knowledge of CI/CD and quality gates
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, etc.)
Nice-to-have
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
