Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on all aspects of disaster recovery preparedness, from documentation to technical execution.

- Drive adoption of best-in-class tools and methodologies to strengthen recovery capability.
- Collaborate with IT leadership, risk, and business continuity teams to maintain alignment with strategy and roadmap.
- Provide subject matter expertise to inform and influence platform resilience and recovery planning.

- Proven platform engineering experience within AWS-hosted environments.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning, methodology, and testing.
- Ability to design and document technical recovery processes and procedures.

Platform Engineer
Atrium EMEA are supporting a world leading IT services contractor in their search for a Platform Engineer to join a high-profile government client. Recent experience in public sector or government projects is essential.
Role: Platform Engineer
Location: Hybrid, Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow - 2 days per week on-site, remainder remote)
Day Rate: Up to £480 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: OPSEC and BPSS (sponsored during onboarding)
Contract: 6 months (extensions highly likely)
