Summary: The role of Platform Engineer (AWS) is a contract position focused on enhancing and scaling a UK digital business's AWS cloud platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure at scale
- Building and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Improving platform reliability, monitoring, and performance
- Working closely with engineering teams to enhance developer experience
Key Skills:
- Strong hands on experience with AWS in production environments
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud native engineering practices
- Ability to operate at a senior level within fast paced engineering teams

We're working with a well known UK digital business looking to bring in a Senior Platform Engineer to help strengthen and scale their AWS cloud platform. This is a hands on contract role suited to someone who enjoys building robust infrastructure, improving developer platforms, and driving automation across modern cloud environments.
What you'll be doing
Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure at scale
