Summary: The role of Platform Engineer requires an experienced professional with a strong background in AWS, C#, and Grafana. The position involves decommissioning servers and VMs, setting up Cloudflare infrastructure, and ensuring observability and analysis within platform engineering. Immediate starters are preferred as the interview process has already begun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong software engineering background and commercial experience working within C# environments
- Decommissioning TCS5 Server (MID, Accounts) collaborating with IT, infosec and the insurer services product team
- Decommissioning Services remaining VMs (SFTP, archiving files storage account)
- Setup Cloudflare infrastructure to be IAC
- Commercial experience in platform engineering
- Specialist experience in observability and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools
- MUST have commercial experience working with AWS cloud-based platforms
- Experience with container platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
