The Role
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to build, maintain and improve the tools and platforms that support software development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain engineering platforms and developer tools.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Integrate tools with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability and availability.
- Troubleshoot platform, deployment and pipeline issues.
- Support containerised and cloud environments.
- Implement security and engineering best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Essential Skills
- Python, Java, Groovy or Go.
- Linux/RHEL and Windows.
- Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo and/or Ansible.
- Git and version control.
- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Nexus or Zephyr.
- Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus or Grafana.
- Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of SAST, DAST and SCA security practices.
Desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering, AIOps or workflow automation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.
