Summary: The role of Platform Engineer involves working with a social media start-up focused on AI and LLM, which is expanding into the US market. The position requires expertise in TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and DevOps to enhance the company's backend systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale backend systems and APIs for the product experience.
- Collaborate closely with the iOS team to deliver customer-focused features.
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communicate effectively about system operations and architecture.
- Design and implement systems architecture.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Proficient in TypeScript, NodeJS (Express), Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
- Experience with Postgres and B2C applications.
- Strong communication skills, particularly regarding technical concepts.
- Expertise in systems design and architecture.
Salary (Rate): £600 daily
