Summary: The role of Platform Engineer involves building and scaling backend systems and APIs for an AI-focused social media start-up that is expanding into the US market. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale backend systems and APIs for the product experience.
• Collaborate closely with the iOS team to deliver customer-focused features.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement systems architecture.
• Communicate effectively about technical processes and system functionalities.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS (Express), Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
• Experience with Postgres and B2C applications.
• Strong systems design and architecture skills.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly regarding technical concepts.
