Summary: The role of Platform Engineer involves working with a social media start-up focused on AI and LLM, which is expanding into the US market. The engineer will be responsible for building and scaling backend systems and APIs, collaborating closely with the iOS team. The position requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with a focus on technologies such as NestJS, TypeScript, Docker, and AWS. This is a 6-month contract offering a competitive daily rate, with options for hybrid or remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale backend systems and APIs for the product experience.
• Collaborate with the iOS team to deliver customer-focused features.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement systems architecture.
• Communicate effectively about technical processes and systems.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficient in TypeScript, NodeJS (Express), Docker, Terraform, and AWS.
• Experience with Postgres and B2C applications.
• Strong systems design and architecture skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
