Summary: The Planning & Performance Specialist role involves supporting strategic planning and performance measurement for a leading organization managing a multi-billion portfolio in telecom products. The position requires translating strategic plans into actionable delivery plans, measuring outcomes through KPIs, and engaging with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency within a dynamic environment. This is a contract position expected to last from ASAP until December, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate annual strategic plans into actionable delivery and execution plans.
  • Measure and report on outcomes using KPIs, providing insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Support CAPEX investment planning and oversee performance across a large portfolio.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources to create meaningful reports and presentations.
  • Present insights confidently, building trust and influencing decision-making.
  • Manage demand for resources, ensuring initiatives align with business objectives and are supported by solid business cases.
  • Lead the annual planning cycle, change management processes, and KPI reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and improve efficiency.

  • Strong planning, reporting, and analytical skills with experience owning end-to-end planning processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
  • Proven ability to extract and analyse data, with proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in complex, large-scale organisations, ideally within telecoms, financial services, or similar sectors.
