Summary: The Planning Monitoring Officer will play a crucial role in supporting a major infrastructure development throughout its pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with all planning conditions and consented requirements throughout construction and site restoration.
  • Agree and implement an appropriate programme of site visits.
  • Produce and submit monthly compliance reports to the Planning Authority summarising site activities.
  • Identify and report any instances of non-compliance to the Planning Authority at the earliest practical opportunity and no later than 10 working days from occurrence.
  • Maintain independence and objectivity while working collaboratively with the project team and stakeholders.

Planning Monitoring Officer - Pre-Construction & Construction Phase

An opportunity has arisen for an independent and suitably qualified Planning Monitoring Officer to support a major infrastructure development during the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.

The role will support pre-construction planning activities and ongoing liaison with local planning authorities and statutory bodies, ensuring full compliance with the terms of a deemed planning permission and associated conditions.
