Summary: The Project Planner role involves working with an EPC contractor on a new Energy from Waste plant in Cheshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with inspections, projects, and turnaround teams to ensure all requirements are understood and achieved.
  • Prepare and report weekly on progress of each individual job.
  • Ensure packs received have a clear and defined work-scope.
  • Provide accurate upfront task durations and costings.
  • Promote teamwork between groups, to achieve group and refinery goals.
  • Bring new ideas, to improve planning systems already in place.
  • Assist with site planning and forecasting.
  • Updating from field and supervision into regular updating of planned / achieved activities.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient use of Primavera P6.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to collate and interrogate data.
  • Proficient in use of all relevant SAP modules.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Proven level of competence in previous planning position, preferably in the Industrial Power sector.

The Role
