Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage project programmes and schedules.
- Support site teams with planning input to ensure projects run to schedule.
- Assist with tender programmes and pre-construction planning.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and external consultants.
- Ensure plans are accurate, realistic, and reflect all project constraints.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates and reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks through effective planning practices.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in planning within the civils, groundworks, or RC frame sectors is preferred.
- Open to candidates from Project Manager or Senior Engineer backgrounds looking to step into planning.
- Strong understanding of construction programmes and methodologies.
- Experience working with NEC contracts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera, MS Project) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
