Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt to an unpredictable work pattern, arranging patient appointments and coordinating with colleagues.

Key Skills:

  • Relevant qualification: Physiotherapy BSc. (Hons) or MSc.
  • Registered member of the Health and Care Professional Council & Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • 2+ years of UK physiotherapy NHS experience, particularly in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Valid/current DBS check.
  • Completed first aid and manual handling training.

Professional Requirements

  • To have the relevant qualification: Physiotherapy BSc. (Hons) Or Physiotherapy MSc.
  • To be a registered member of the Health and Care Professional Council & Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • To comply with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy codes of professional values and behaviour at all times.
  • To comply with the standards of Proficiency, Conduct, Performance and Ethics of the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • To have 2+ years UK physiotherapy NHS experience, including working in orthopaedic and / or musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • To provide a valid / current DBS check.
  • To have attended and completed first aid training including resuscitation.
  • To have attended and completed manual handling training.
  • To have specialist knowledge and skills in the management of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Sub-contracted Service Requirements

  • To responsibly manage an independent patient caseload, in an autonomous manner.
  • To perform skilled assessment, treatment and management of clients, including red flag recognition.
  • Ensure the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy / rehabilitation services including goal setting for all attending clients.
  • To use and integrate evidence-based practice and specialist treatment skills including therapeutic handling skills.
  • To fulfil the legal requirements and obligations of documentation: maintaining accurate, confidential and up to date patient records.
  • To demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills in the management of own caseload.
  • To be able to adapt to an unpredictable work pattern on a daily basis. This includes the arrangement of patient appointments and coordinating with colleagues.
  • To complete lone working, with oversight by the Director of Oxhab Limited.
  • To carry out some physiotherapy work in the clinic.
  • To carry some physiotherapy work within the local community of Oxford / Oxfordshire.
  • To be aware of, and keep up to date with and adhere to the following at all times:
