Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment for an MSK caseload under supervision.
• Manage patients with complex physical conditions and sports injuries referred by healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with the Multi-disciplinary Team to maintain high standards of care.
• Utilize clinical reasoning skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare personnel.
• Advise on specialist physiotherapy recommendations to Medical Officers and rehab clinicians.
• Provide clinical reports for prognosis and discharge planning.
• Support audit and research activities as required.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate records and patient information in compliance with local policies.

Key Skills:

• HCPC Registration.
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP).
• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• Experience in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
• Minimum of two years post-graduate clinical experience in MSK disorders.
• Previous experience as a Specialist Physiotherapist Band 6 or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
